An exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of the first exhibition by The Eight

6.4.2007 - 17.6.2007

19 - 21 Husova St., Prague 1 – Old Town

To mark the 100th anniversary of the first exhibition held by Osma (The Eight), the Czech Museum of Fine Arts is organising a presentation of paintings by Emil Filla, Bedřich Feigl, Max Horb, Bohumil Kubišta, Otakar Kubín, Emil Pittermann-Longen, Willy Nowak and Antonín Procházka. Although today it is impossible to attempt a reconstruction of a show that signalled the emergence of Modernism in Czech art, this exhibition seeks to recall that important event.
