Evening of Puppet Films from Around the World

17.1.2009 / A special screening of stop motion animated puppet films from around the world showcasing both the old and the new masters of this creative, cinematic art form.

The films we are showing (on Wed evening) all have a connection to the Czech lands and its tradition of puppetry. The artists who created these films were certainly inspired by the puppeteers, puppets and traveling puppet shows off days gone by.  What you, the audience, will experience in these films is the next generation of artists continuing the long Bohemian tradition of telling their stories through puppetry.
